The Raw Women's Championship was created in 2016 as part of the WWE brand extension. The championship is exclusive to the Raw brand and is considered the top women's championship on the brand. The championship has been held by some of the biggest names in women's wrestling, including Ronda Rousey, Becky Lynch, and Charlotte Flair.
