Al Hilal Wins Final, Al Nassr Falls Just Short
Cristiano Ronaldo and Al Nassr finished in second place in the Arab Club Champions Cup, losing the final 2-1 to Al Hilal on Monday. Ronaldo scored a goal in the semifinal but was unable to find the back of the net in the final.
Al Nassr's Path to the Final
Al Nassr reached the final of the Arab Club Champions Cup after beating Al Khaleej 3-1 in the semifinal. Ronaldo scored the opening goal in the semifinal, giving Al Nassr an early lead. However, Al Khaleej equalized in the second half, and the match went to extra time.
In extra time, Al Nassr scored two goals to secure the victory. Anderson Talisca scored the winning goal in the 112th minute.
Al Hilal's Victory
Al Hilal won the Arab Club Champions Cup after defeating Al Nassr 2-1 in the final. Salem Al-Dawsari scored the winning goal for Al Hilal in the 74th minute.
Al Hilal's victory was their second in the Arab Club Champions Cup. They previously won the tournament in 2019.
