iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max Unveiled
Significant Camera and Performance Upgrades Headline New Features
CUPERTINO, Calif. - Apple today announced the new iPhone 14 lineup, featuring the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max. The new models boast significant camera and performance upgrades, along with a range of other new features.
The iPhone 14 features a new 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display, while the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max feature a new 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR display with ProMotion. All three models are powered by Apple's new A16 Bionic chip, which delivers up to 40% faster performance than the previous generation.
The camera system on the iPhone 14 has been significantly upgraded, with a new 12MP main camera, a new 12MP ultrawide camera, and a new 12MP telephoto camera. The iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max feature an even more advanced camera system, with a new 48MP main camera, a new 12MP ultrawide camera, and a new 12MP telephoto camera.
Other new features on the iPhone 14 lineup include a new Crash Detection feature, which can automatically detect and contact emergency services in the event of a car crash, and a new Satellite SOS feature, which allows users to send text messages and share their location via satellite when cellular and Wi-Fi are unavailable.
The iPhone 14 lineup is available for pre-order today, and will be available in stores on September 16. The iPhone 14 starts at $799, the iPhone 14 Pro starts at $999, and the iPhone 14 Pro Max starts at $1,099.
